BLUEGRASS RESIDENCES-"PORTACABIN SALES GALLERY" PUNE

TADC was commissioned to design the architectural structure and interiors of the "Sales Gallery" for the residential development site of "Bluegrass Residences".

At the launch of the "Bluegrass residences" project ,the "Sales Gallery" was the first essential built space for the "Marketing and Sales team" to operate from as well as to engage with prospective customers wishing to purchase an apartment and view the overall proposed development .

The brief was to provide a space which is safe and secure, within the ongoing construction site and yet has an air of aesthetic ambience to it , in the designed space inside as well as the exterior façade and approach path to this structure.

At Bluegrass Residences the location for this space could not be more daunting as there would be a need to create a temporary zone since the development of the land was all encompassing, and a permanent location would not be feasible at the launch of the project.

The architects at TADC sought a simple solution for faster turn aroundof the structure,by earmarking an area for a plinth of a suitable size, on which "Portacabins" were erected around a central "Open to sky landscaped courtyard".This brought in enough light to the interior spaces and enlivened the interiors .The exterior facadeof the "Porta cabins" was clad in Al composite fire rated panels, to give it a finished look. On the roof of the structure a viewing deck with alfresco seating was created for viewing the Project development and stud farm beyond.

The display areas for the "project models", "branding collateral"as well as client engagement "discussion pods" were all planned around this "Zen garden courtyard", overlooking the greenery. The "Conference room" and "Private cabins" for the "Sales and Marketing" executives ,overlooked the construction development.

The interiors echoed the central theme of "Bluegrass Residences" of being "One with nature". Wooden finish false ceiling, light and sleek furniture, asubtle colour pallete and ample daylight from the central courtyard, all tie in together to create a green and sustainable environment.

The resultant design has been sustainable on several counts,be it "Energy efficiency" because of "natural daylight" from the courtyard or the "Recyclable property" of "Porta cabins".
